Fictional Character Biography
According to Team Fantomen
The 14th Phantom was born in 1793 and became the Phantom in 1811. The same year, he married Marie Claire and their son, the 15th Phantom, was born.
In 1831, the 14th Phantom was murdered by the false colonel of the Jungle Patrol Chandra Sykharn, a ruler of one of the countries in the Misty Mountains, who had infiltrated the Patrol. Following this the 15th Phantom made the Commander unknown, making the 14th the last Phantom to officially serve as Patrol commander. The Unknown Commander Pt 1

When he was in Tangiers, Morocco, he encountered pirates. The pirates were led by sheik Ramur. The Phantom was captured, but both he and Ramur fell overboard and drifted to sea on a makeshift raft. Ramur still tried to kill the Phantom by stabbing him with a dagger, but the Phantom defeated him and Ramur gave up and gave away the dagger. Ramur swore he would give up piracy. After three days, they reached the shore of Ramur's kingdom, but when they reached the palace they discovered that his brother Achmed had taken control.
