In the year 2017, a total of 19 issues of Swedish comic book Fantomen were published.

In total, 19 issues were published of which 12 were regular issues of 52 pages and 7 were "double issues" of 100 pages. The double issues were on sale for four weeks, while the other issues were on sale for two weeks.

Covers

Henrik Sahlström was the main cover artist of the year with 8 covers. Several less frequent cover artist produced line art which was colored by Jenny Winther: Alex Saviuk (3 covers), Kari Leppänen (2 covers), Joan Boix (1 cover), and Heiner Bade (1 cover). Rafael Ruiz produced his first cover, and the team Sal Velluto & Eugenio Mattozzi did 3 covers.

Phantom stories

11 new Team Fantomen stories were published during the year, mostly as main stories in regular issues. One of the stories was published as main story in a double issue. Most stories were 22 pages, with the exception of one 21-page and one 23-page story. One regular issue featured a Sunday story as main story. Previously unpublished daily stories were used as backup in most double issues, which also featured Team Fantomen reprints. Three short "The World of the Phantom" stories were also published, after a year of absence.
