"The Wiseguy" is the 184th Phantom Sunday story. The story was written by Tony DePaul and drawn by Terry Beatty.

Plot synopsis

Mikey D'Moda is on his way to China as part of a deal between the Chicago D'Moda crime family and a Chinese mob when his plane goes down in the jungle. The Chinese mob thinks it is part of a ploy and tries to assassinate Mikey. The Phantom, after dealing with the would-be assassin, helps dismantle the D'Moda crime family and sets Mikey on the straight path.
