Fantomen 2013
In the year 2013, a total of 19 issues of Swedish comic book Fantomen was published.
Overview
In total, 19 issues were published of which 12 were regular issues of 68 pages and 7 were "double issues" of 132 pages. The double issues were on sale for four weeks, while the other issues were on sale for two weeks.
The first issue of 2013 was released on December 20, 2012. Since the Norwegian Fantomet switched to publishing only 12 monthly issues this year, it also meant that the co-printing of Swedish and Norwegian issues ceased.
Promotion
An in-house ad with artwork by Paul Ryan was published in the black/white Agent X9 magazine published by Egmont Kärnan; and in color in the magazine Bild & Bubbla.
An in-house ad with artwork by editor Mikael Sol was published in the black/white Agent X9 magazine published by Egmont Kärnan.
Another ad was published in various comic books published by Egmont Kärnan.

Covers
The main cover artists of the year was Hans Lindahl with 12 covers. Other cover artists were Dag R. Frognes (3 covers) and the teams Sal Velluto and Eugenio Mattozzi (3 covers), and Paul Ryan and Tom Smith (1 cover).
It was the first year since 1956 that Rolf Gohs did not make any cover.

Phantom stories
All but one issue included new Team Fantomen stories as main stories, a total of 18 new stories. One issue included a two recent Sunday stories as main stories. Several Falk & Barry Sunday stories appeared as back-up stories throughout the year. Daily strip stories by Falk, Moore and/or McCoy were published in the double issues. For the first time, they were printed unedited (apart from translation) in Fantomen. To accomodate the format of the strip, these stories were printed sideways with three strips per page.
