"The Pandemic" is a 2013 Team Fantomen story, written by Philip Madden, with art by Sal Velluto.

Plot synopsis

Contains origin story. A man working for a chemical factory is found dying in the jungle. Before he dies he tells the Phantom that he brought chemical vials that were broken. The Phantom brings them to Dr Axel who confirms that they contain a very aggressive flu virus.
