Fantomen 2014
In the year 2014, a total of 19 issues of Swedish comic book Fantomen was published.
Overview
A big change this year was that the number of pages for a regular issue was reduced from 68 to 52 pages. 68 pages had been the standard length of a Fantomen issue since Fantomen 21/1959.
In total, 19 issues were published of which 12 were regular issues of 52 pages and 7 were "double issues" of 100 pages. The double issues were on sale for four weeks, while the other issues were on sale for two weeks.
The first issue of 2014 was released on December 30, 2013.
Promotion
An in-house ad with artwork by Paul Ryan was published in the black/white Agent X9 magazine published by Egmont Kärnan.
Covers
The only cover artists of the year were Hans Lindahl with 11 covers and the team Sal Velluto and Eugenio Mattozzi with 8 covers.

Phantom stories
All but two issues included new Team Fantomen stories as main stories, a total of 17 new stories. Two issues included a recent Sunday stories as main stories. Several previously unpublished Sunday stories also appeared as back-up stories throughout the year.
Team Fantomen introduced a new type of short stories by new creators, The World of the Phantom. Five new short stories (from one to four pages long) were published during the year.
