In the year 1980, a total of 26 issues of Swedish comic book Fantomen were published.
Overview
The week day that the Phantom was published on changed from wednesday to tuesday during this year (between issues #1 and #2).
Every issue was printed in around 200,000 copies and the number of subscribers was around 25,000.[1]

Promotion
An in-house ad was published in various comic magazines published by Semic Press.
Covers
The main cover artist was Rolf Gohs with 20 covers. The other contributors were Jaime Vallvé (4 covers), Knut Westad (1 cover), and Heiner Bade (1 cover).
