"Sir Thomas' Revenge" is a 1980 Team Fantomen story, written by Ulf Granberg, with art by Jaime Vallvé.
Plot summary
When the twins Kit and Heloise have fallen asleep, the Phantom and Diana are sitting in the chronicle room reading a story from the life of the 2nd Phantom.
Following the events of The Ring, the Phantom and the English royal court believed that Sir Thomas drowned. However, he was nursed back to life but with his face disfigured and without legs. To move around he sits in a wheeled box. He has raised his daughter Morgan to avenge him on the blue avenger (The Phantom) that disabled him. She has grown up to be an excellent shot, fencer and rider.
Queen Elizabeth sends her on a secret mission to the north of Spain to find information on the Spanish fleet. Months later the court receives news that she has been imprisoned in a castle on the northern coast of Spain. A rescue party is sent there and one of them is lieutenant Kit Walker. The rescue party is soon discovered after going ashore but Kit manages to free Morgan. When she sees Kit's medallion with the skull mark she believes that Kit is the Phantom and strikes him down from behind, leaving him on the shoreline to be caught by Spanish soldiers. She returns by herself to England.
The commander of the Spanish castle gives Kit the opportunity to write home in order for a ransom to be paid. Many months later the Phantom arrives to the castle to pay the ransom. They travel together to England to find out more about Morgan. The Phantom is quite surprised to learn that Morgan is the daughter Sir Thomas of Gatswick and that he is very much alive. Continuing to Gatswick castle there is a final showdown between Sir Thomas and the Phantom. Sir Thomas, mad from his vengefulness accidentally shoots his daughter before the Phantom kills him.

Behind the scenes
- The event that took place 18 years earlier when Manuel de Ortiz rescued the Phantom from pirates is explained further in "The Ring". According to Fantomen Krönika 3/1993 the Ring take place in 1541 while this story take place in 1565 which is 24 years between.
