Terre Lontane

Terre Lontane was a comic album series published by Edizioni Dama in Italy in 2000 and 2001. Only 14 issues have been released.

Some issues were devoted to other comics (Flash Gordon, Rip Kirby, Secret Agent X-9) but the Phantom was the main published character.

Directed by Marco Giuntol, the series tried to renew with the publishing of dailies and Sunday pages Phantom stories in a chronological order such previously released by Comic Art Edition, however without the success of the latter as the series ended after only some issues. The concept of publishing a large sized magazine - 24 x 32 cm - with few pages, imposed by the restricted financial possibilites of a small editor, made the whole series mainly destinated to collectors rather than popular public.
