L'uomo mascherato – Il mito dell'Ombra che cammina (The Masked man, The Myth of The Ghost who walks) is a full color book released in 2005, by the Italian newspaper La Repubblica in collaboration with Panini Comics.
It was the 18th book of the series I classici del fumetto di La Repubblica - Serie Oro (The classic Comics of La Repubblica - Golden series). A previous book in this series was devoted to Mandrake the Magician.
After a presentation text about the Phantom and some pages featuring 14 covers of the Phantom series, a total of 219 Wilson McCoy's Sunday pages (running from 1952 to 1956) are featured.
