Phantom (Wick)

History

Phantom (Collectors Edition Tafalla) is the title of a Phantom comic book published by German publisher Wick in Germany from 2022.

This collection includes the storys drawn by José María Ortiz Tafalla for the Bastei Phantom and Bastei Phantom Spezial series. The collection consists of twelve issues altogether, black and white with two issues in full color.

It collects twenty-two stories, from which seventeen have been published in the eighties plus five due to cancellation of the series previously unpublished stories. All of the stories collected in this edition have a new text by Phantom veteran Peter Mennigen.

Printing number is limited to seven hundred copies.

Covers are taken from Ertuğrul Edirne from Kızılmaske which ran in Turkiye from 2013 – 2017 with, for the German market, a recolored purple Phantom instead of the turkish red one.
