  • The title "The Fire Goddess" appears in the first strip of the story.
  • In the Sunday stories, from this story on, The Phantom is said to be living in Bengali, not Bengal, thus making his home-country entirely fictitious.
  • When The Phantom returns to the jungle, he announces his return by letting out "the Skull Bird".
