Behind the scenes
- This is the first Phantom story where the Phantom Treasure (located in what decades later would be called the Small Treasure Room) is mentioned and seen.
- The Phantom tells Manna, Whitey and the judge about the origin of the Phantom. This is the second time he's seen revealing it to anyone, the first time being to Diana in "The Singh Brotherhood" where he also states that the only ones allowed to know about it is the Phantom's eldest son, and his supposed wife.
