In the year 1992, a total of 26 issues of Swedish comic book Fantomen were published.

Covers
Rolf Gohs was the main cover artist of the year, with 23 covers. Other cover artists were Hans Lindahl, César Spadari and Erik Larsen with one cover each. Spadari and Larsen were new cover artists for Fantomen, although Larsen's cover had previously been published in Fantomet, where he had produced covers for several years.
The color of the border around the cover was changed from blue to white.

Phantom stories
22 issues featured new Team Fantomen stories as main stories. The other four issues featured new newspaper strip stories as main stories. Reprinted newspaper strip and Team Fantomen stories appeared as back-up stories sporadically during the year.

A publishing schedule poster appeared in Fantomen 1. Stickers intended to be placed on the publishing schedule poster appeared in Fantomen 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, and 22. Tattoo marks were included in Fantomen 12 and 16.
There was no Best cover poster published this year, for the first time since 1978. The winner of Best Fantomen cover 1991 was instead printed on the inside back cover of Fantomen 15.
