The Gold ducat is a gold coin called Ducat with a hole through it. It is kept in the Major Treasure Room.

Fictional History

In 1793, Chris, the future 13th Phantom, was on his way to Jamaica but after a pirate attack he had to stay for some time at the Swedish colony of Saint-Barthélemy. During his stay, he discovered the hidden treasure of pirate Montbar, the way to which was marked by gold ducats nailed to trees. The hole in the ducat was caused by this nailing. He kept one of these coins as a memento of his adventure.
