"Quabar's Secret" is a 1986 Team Fantomen story, written by Dai Darell, with art by Özcan Eralp.
Plot synopsis
Contains origin story. The Phantom receives an anonymous letter from Zamur, only containing a sword tip. Consulting his father's chronicles, he comes to the conclusion that it must be from a sword that Sultan Ibn Narud gave to The 20th Phantom after saving the sultan and members of his court. The Phantom travels to Zamur to discover why he was sent the sword tip only to learn that the old sultan has passed away and that crown princess Aramud has been kidnapped, by prince Quabar.

Behind the scenes
- According to Fantomen Krönika 5/2001, the historic part with The 20th Phantom takes place in 1950.
- Early in the story the Phantom is shown with the skull ring on his ring finger, but later it is seen on his index finger.
