99.94 Editions Prints
Originating in 1997 by life-long fan Dietmar Lederwasch, 99.94 Editions intended to produce high-quality prints of original artworks depicting all 21 Phantoms. 99.94 was based in Newcastle, Australia, a city known for its artistic community.
Main Series
Sadly, funding for the main "21 Phantoms" series ran out before all the artworks could be produced, with only seven in total being completed. The artists involved ranged from well known Phantom artists such as Sy Barry to prominent Australian artists such as Barry Dean.
Prints of each artwork were limited to 400 each, and sold for $145AU (approximately $276.12AU as of 2023) each. A newsletter was also produced and sent out to those who had ordered/ purchased the prints.
Artists who had committed themselves to the series or shown interest in contributing but whose works were never produced included Martin Sharp, Garry Shead, Reg Mombasa, Hans Lindahl, Drew Struzan [1] and Ron Hartree. Hartree has commented what while his preliminary paintings had been met with positivity he never actually received payment to produce a full artwork.

Prints were made available as a set or individually and sold for $25AU individually unsigned, or $50AU individually signed. Sets went for $100AU unsigned or $200AU signed. The set was dedicated to Rene Cashman, a friend of Lederwasch who unexpectedly passed away.

Masterwork Series II
A second Masterwork series was released in 2002 featuring black and white artwork by Frew Publications' cover artist Antonio Lemos. Only 100 prints of each work were produced for $25AU each, or the whole set could be purchased for $100AU. Full sets came in a special folder, the cover of which acted as the fifth print. Each print was hand signed by Lemos.
