First appearance: "The Sea God"
Created by: Lee Falk & Sy Barry

The Tougonda is a tribe in the Bangalla jungle. They are pearldivers and worship the sea god Touroo.

According to Team Fantomen

The Touganda live in a village on the coast south of Keela-Wee. They came there long before the 1st Phantom arrived to Bengali; before they lived on an island, Touroo, in the Indian Ocean, where they lived as expert fishers and sailors, worshipping their deity Touroo. A large wave destroyed their island and the few survivors sailed west to the Keela-Wee where they went ashore and built their village south of Keela-Wee. One of them, the "pilot", keeps their old traditions and from generation to generation, from pilot to pilot, an old knife is passed on who has a map that shows the way to the island.
