Terje Emberland is a Norwegian writer. He has written two Phantom stories with Henning Laugerud using the pen name Johan L. Borgnes. Under the Borgnes name he also wrote the articles that introduced the fictitious Phantom researcher Kenneth Soames. Emberland has also written a Phantom story on his own, which is unique as it is the only Team Fantomen story that has only been published in Norway.
Emberland is a researcher at the Center for Studies of Holocaust and Religious Minorities.
