1st publication
I have been looking through some of the Team Fantomen stories from recent years, and it annoys me every time that an issue from Australia or Norway is entered in the "1st publication" field in the template. The intention of "1st publication" is to show what comic book that the story was produced for. This means that the Fantomen issue that the story first appeared in should be entered in the template, because the story is created specifically for Fantomen. All artists and editors involved work for Fantomen, not Frew. The reason some of these stories appear a few days earlier in other countries is because of modern technology (Frew gets the story digitally when it is finished in Sweden, but don't have to color it like Fantomen does and can print it right away) and distribution (Norway and Sweden have different days when new issues are distributed to stores, but the issues are printed at the same time. And if we should get really technical about it, Mustanaamio was the first publication on sale while the magazines were printed in Finland). If the title "1st publication" is misleading, it should be changed to something that allows us to put the Fantomen issue in the template all times. "Original publication"? "Produced for"? - "Produced for" would be good solution. Delboj4 10:59, 23 February 2012 (CET)
Default values
Could this be a good way set up default values? --MiGi (talk) 12:51, 13 December 2017 (CET)
