SCCal24.png The Scandinavian Chapter needs your help. Less meetings and no fairs equals not nearly enough income for us.

So if you are a Phan of the Phantom and like the service we provide to you and fellow Phans, through this PhantomWiki we therefore, ask you to donate to the cost of running it.
Due to the massive amount of pictures in here, the web storage costs us 5 500 SEK per year.

But, we don't like to just ask for your money, we would like to offer a printable custom Fantomen wall calender, with all that you would expect from an calender, including the dates your Fantomen magazine will land in your postbox or the nearest store.

Kindly download it from here, from there you can also donate to this wiki

Welcome, and thanks for your contributions. As you may have noticed, several of the scans you have added are already available on the Wiki, but with more scans to chose from we will pick the best one possible for each issue. Please contribute more if you have. Andreas 20:35, 24 June 2009 (CEST)

It could also help if you added the duplicate images under the same file name as the old file. That way, all instances of that image are relinked automatically. Since most cover scans appear in more than one article it could make things easier. Andreas 22:41, 24 June 2009 (CEST)

Is there still problem with the login? I can't login anymore! Should I create a new account? MiGi 09:13, 4 August 2009 (CEST)

I have forwarded your question to tech support. In the meantime, you could use another account, but remember not to log out of that account or clear the browser's cache/cookies (this will also log you out) Andreas 19:34, 4 August 2009 (CEST)
Welcome back! :) Andreas 12:29, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

The cover of Fantomen 20/1993

You have claimed that you now have uploaded the correct cover of Fantomen 20/1993, however, it is the same as before; the cover of Fantomen 2/1993. It could actually be read at the cover. I hope you have the time to find and upload the correct cover. Karl MAN 14:57, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

It looks correct to me. Could it be a cache error on your computer? Andreas 14:58, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
I have just checked it. Apparently my computer displays the correct cover at the issue article, but not when I view File:Fantomen 199320.jpg, nor the Fantomen 20/1993 cover. No idea of how that could have happened. Karl MAN 15:01, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
Now I have made it display the correct cover. Stupid computer! Karl MAN 15:03, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
When I had uploaded it, I too had to clear the cache before I could see it, and the same with the article page. But on the year page, Fantomen 1993, I didn't have to clear the cache to see the correct version... Strange indeed. MiGi 15:12, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

I have proposed ways to prevent spamming at the Bandar Village. Since I have received no response what so ever, I alert those of you that have had to mainly deal with the spamming so far. Thus, the topic might be discussed. Karl MAN 12:42, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

The Phantom 805 (Frew)

I don't believe that's correct information about cover artist. I think that's splash page drawn by Heiner Bade. Delboj (talk) 19:40, 2 March 2020 (CET)

I know, I hit the update button by mistake. I will check the page (as soon as I can dig out the issue). --MiGi (talk) 20:11, 2 March 2020 (CET)

st, nd, rd, th

In all of old articles dates in box were written like October 1st, November 2nd... Delboj (talk) 19:52, 23 November 2022 (CET)

I looked through stories D196 to D253 and there it was presented only with digits. Looking further back now, the change appear to be with D153/D154. I now also see that on the Sundays st, nd, rd was used from S1 to S151 and from S152 it's only digits. Why this change was done I do not know.--MiGi (talk) 06:49, 24 November 2022 (CET)
I don't know that. I only know that was used in old articles.
I have changed all dailies and sundays to the same format now, with st, nd, rd, and th.--MiGi (talk) 09:12, 18 March 2023 (CET)

summary vs. synopsis

summary does not mean detailed description. Summary and synopsis are very similar in meaning. I dont think we need to replace the heading from plot summary to plot synopsis.Paramjitmann (talk)

I did some googeling and many of the hits did put a difference between them, but as I mentioned in another discussion english isn't my first language.  :-)
There is a very minor difference. Both are supposed to be concise and small in size. Maybe not worth ALL the changes. So what is your suggestion? should one change the heading or let it be? Paramjitmann (talk)
I think only change it to Plot synopsis if other changes are done on the page. --MiGi (talk) 06:18, 29 November 2023 (CET)

Why don't we list pseudonyms? If we list Old Jungle Sayings, Vehicles, and Locations, I think it is appropriate to list pseudonyms. Maybe not where I put them in The Escaped Convicts (between recurring and one-time characters), but they could go somewhere, surely? P.s. thanks for your other edits. Well spotted, especially, that Alexandria is indeed in Egypt!

Well, I haven't thought about pseudonyms actually. Start a new discussion in the Bandar Village and we'll see where it leads.
Besides that, welcome to the Wiki. We'll need new fresh blood here! I see that you have added some much needed Plot synopsis (if it's named Plot Summary please change it), but try to keep it short (we have a retelling of the story in some cases), see the style guide --MiGi (talk) 06:04, 29 November 2023 (CET)
