I have noted that you at more than one occasion have nominated a cover for deletion and then uploaded a new version of it, most recently with File:PZ 1942.jpg. I have taken that as that you mean that the quality of the image was bad and in need of replacement, hence I have removed the deletion nomination at every such occasion as a new version was uploaded. If I have been wrong here, then please inform me about it.

However, I would like to point out that there already exists a maintenance template that is meant to be attached to images that are in need of better version. If that is your intentions, then please use it instead and then remove it after a new version has been uploaded. The template is Template:Replaceimage. Karl MAN 11:22, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Cover images

I noticed that when you recently created Phantom 98, you put up a name for an image that does not exist yet. Are you planning to upload it soon? If you have no intention of uploading the cover scan, then I think that we should put up the Template:Covermissing so that the article is marked as in need of a cover scan.

I also have a memory of encountering similar things in the recent months, i.e. issue articles with links to cover images that does not exists, and I think the same of them (I don't remember if you are responsible for all of their creations, but at least you are responsible for some). If you are planning to soon upload the covers, then it will only be extra work to put up the covermissing template, but if you don't, then I think it is important to put up the template.    Remove the proc_open string from the disable_functions at php.ini* file

Hi, thanks for your message.

I can see that many of the international covers are incomplete, and I'm trying to complete these gaps by finding the correct covers on the internet. I don't actually own any of these comics, but I'll keep contributing.

Also, is there a reason why you removed an example of a panel from "The Crown Jewels of Corba" story which I added? I was under the impression that additions of that sort were beneficial.

Yes, many covers are incomplete, but we didn't want add bad quality scans in some cases, if it's possible to find better scans. So, not all scans from internet sources good choice. Especially, don't add scans with watermarks, but also cuted scans like that one Italian uploaded by you aren't good.

About story panel, that's actually panel from "The Valley of No Return", and I moved that link there, it's not removed. But it looks as original artwork, I think that scans like that should be replaced with another edited scans. And in this case, I think that panel doesn't represent story very well. Notable appearances

In the pages of some characters (like Joomba, Dave Plamer etc) the list given is of "Notable appearances". How do you normally decide which appearance is notable? In case of most of the characters the attempt seems to make the list of "all appearances". What is the policy of the wiki in this regard? Dynamite Issues

Hi. You have created nearly all of the pages for the issues of King: The Phantom, Kings Quest and Flash Gordon: Kings Cross. Editor mentioned is Joseph Rybandt. While Rybandt does happen to be the senior editor for Dynamite, all these issues prominently declare Nate Cosby to be the editor for these issues.
