X9 (later Agent X9) is a Swedish comic book, first published in 1969, and - as of 2010 - still in production.

Overview

X9 in-house ad, published in various comic magazines published by Semic Press.

During the first years, until #3/1971, each X9 issue featured a Phantom story from either King Comics, Gold Key, or Fratelli Spada.

In 1971, the Phantom was dropped from the X9 lineup. In 1994, as the magazine (now renamed Agent X9) celebrated its 25th anniversary, a replica of the first issue, including a Phantom story, was included in #10/1994.

In total, The Phantom was featured in 25 issues, including #10/1994.

Two issues had The Phantom on the cover: X9 #6/1970 and #12/1970, and in both cases the covers were reprinted Fantomen covers.
