Gullique island was one of the strongholds of the Singh Brotherhood ruled over by Rama Singh who had killed the 20th Phantom by deceit. Ten years after the incident, the current Phantom finds out that it was Rama who had killed his father and has the 20th Phantom’s gunbelt on display in his office in Gullique. The Phantom goes to the island and there are two rainbows in the sky when he arrives. The pirates remember an old legend that “when the Phantom comes to destroy Gullique, there’ll be a double rainbow in the sky”. In the confrontation Rama ends up blowing up the island himself and Gullique is destroyed. Rama Singh dies in the explosion.
