- No writer was credited at publication. According to editorial documents donated to Seriearkivet/The Comics Archive, Magnus Knutsson was assigned to write a script based on "Intrigue on Board" published in "French Super Albo 67–70", i.e. "Intrigue à bord", Le Fantôme Spécial #67 – #68 and "La fuite désespérée", #69 – #70 (1969) which was a French reprint of "High Seas Highjacker". At the time, "High Seas Highjacker" had never been published in Sweden.
