"The Intruders" is a 1972 Charlton story, written by Joe Gill and drawn by Pat Boyette.
Plot synopsis
Extra-terrestrials visit Planet 7 (Earth) from Planet 1 to decide how to colonise it. They arrive in Bangalla and beam up the Phantom. The Phantom escapes and warns them to leave before a tropical storm arrives. When the alien aircraft is struck by lighting, the alloy, a tungsten-sulphur compound, catches fire and burns freely.
