Start dates

It is a bit risky to calculate start/end dates theoretically. In the US, newspaper publish daily strips six days a week and Sundays once a week all year around. That is not the case in Sweden. Most are not published on Sundays and other holidays ("red" days). Even if a paper prints daily strips seven days a week for a period, they will not be able to do so on a regular basis, as this means they will eventually "catch up" with the new strips from USA. Unless the start/end days are absolutely certain, I think we should mark them with a question mark or something to show that we need confirmation. Andreas 19:18, 5 June 2009 (CEST)

I realized this pretty soon. There is only one newspaper that I know publishes 7 days a week so I think calculating for that one should be fine. In the other cases I have counted with that it was not published at red days. The newspaper that I am a little bit uncertain about is LK., it seems to be a pretty new creation and does not exist at wikipedia as the others. I have counted on six days for that one. Is the date in the table a calculated date? I found that it was three days off from the real date.

The newspaper seems to have published the strip seven days per week, excluding national holidays. "Jungle Mystery" was the last story published. After this story, the newspaper started publishing "Medelålders plus" instead. Stefan (talk) 15:34, 1 August 2026 (CEST)

It could be. Someone posted comment in 2009: I am assuming that it publishes strips every day (7/week) at june 3 it published 2-27 2003 Delboj (talk) 17:06, 1 August 2026 (CEST)
