Ogun is a deity.
History
Ogun was believed to be the God of Birth and Eternal Life of an ancient kingdom of Chief Mauapu in Bengali. A wooden statue of Ogun was made by his powerful sorcerer Chumar. Chumar's idol was discovered in modern times by Dr. T'Uande and stored for a brief period in Morristown's Ethnographical Museum. It was destroyed before it could be displayed. The Crying Idol
