Rolf Gohs drew a similar cover only four years later.
The original cover bears similarities to a panel from the Sunday story "Return of the Thuggees", drawn by Sy Barry and published 21 years later.
The cover also seem to have been an inspiration for the cover of Norwegian Serie-pocket issue 124, published in 1987.
