In the year 1955 a total of 26 issues of Swedish comic book Fantomen were published.

From Fantomen 22/1955, was Fantomen printed in black and white. All the issues of the year were later reprinted in facsimile in Fantomen - Den inbundna årgången 1955, Del 1, Del 2, and Del 3.

Covers

Martin Guhl created 6 of the covers. Other known contributors were George Camitz (5 covers) and J. D. Carrick (2 covers). The other artists' names are unknown, except that we know that one of them had an signature beginning with an S. Only two of the covers showed the Phantom, the others featured back-up comics, famous sport stars or general illustrations.
