Velos
Velos (written Βέλος in Greek) was a Greek comic magazine published by Terzopoulos.
History
Velos was published from July 2, 1968 to April 14, 1970. It was a weekly publication to issue #86, and fortnightly to the end. Originall format was 19 × 25 cm, but it was changed to 12 × 19 cm from issue #58. Several classical comics - such as Mandrake the Magician, Flash Gordon, Tim Tyler's Luck, The Lone Ranger, Rip Kirby, Brick Bradford, Cisco Kid, Big Ben Bolt, Johnny Hazard, Popeye, Henry, Tintin, and of course "the Phantom" - were published in these series. A total of 90 issues were published and "the Phantom" appeared in at least 19 issues. All published stories have been newspaper strip stories, drawn by Wilson McCoy and Sy Barry. The Phantom has appeared on almost all covers of issues which included the Phantom story.
