Created to coincide with the release of Frew Publications' 1000th issue, the Official Phantom Fan Club Australia was managed by a company known as Famous Faces who also ran clubs for Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and others. Based in Melbourne, the fan club lasted until 1999. A newsletter sent to all members was originally supposed to be quarterly, but no more than three were ever released within a year. The last issue was released in 1998.
