The Fantomen 24/2004 cover isn't made by Ryan but by Rolf Gohs. Pjär 14:08, 27 March 2008 (CET) Now the cover list is correct :) Pjär 14:13, 27 March 2008 (CET)

Should we have both a list and a gallery? Or maybe just a gallery, now that we have that scroll gallery code. Member 7 14:17, 27 March 2008 (CET)
Both ways tend to be very, very large for a productive cover artist like Rolf Gohs or Hans Lindahl. I had some slight idea of making categories for the covers of the most productive artist and then adding a link to the category here. Karl MAN 2 14:24, 27 March 2008 (CET)
I mean that the issues should be categorized since they are probably going to come up here long before most covers, not categorizing the cover pages, this in order to make it more handy to use. Karl MAN 2 14:28, 27 March 2008 (CET)
IMO, if we are going to have cover articles, we ought to use them - creating red links will only make us create the cover articles faster (e.g. Fantomen 18/2004 cover‎ has already been created). Pjär 14:38, 27 March 2008 (CET)
As long as an artist's production isn't to big (as in Karl MAN's cases with Gohs and Lindahl, I'd say that galleries is preferred. Just as we do with publications - the ones with "too many" issues are listed, while the one with less issues appears as galleries. Pjär 14:40, 27 March 2008 (CET)
A Simple solution for Artists whose pages you consider to long for a gallery is to create it on a new page for example like wikipedia does for actors who have stared in a large number of films that way their work can still be shown in a gallery which is then linked to there page.--Dark Lord Xander3 05:29, 29 March 2008 (CET)
Rolf Gohs has made several hundreds of covers, even an article with only covers would become very, very huge. However, it might be possible so I am on if anyone else is on. Karl MAN 2 21:49, 31 March 2008 (CEST)
Gohs is getting close to produce his 1000th Phantom cover... Creating an article named Gallery of Rolf Gohs' covers or something like that, and gathering them there sure would be cool, but I suspect it would be too big. Maybe Gallery of Rolf Gohs' 1950's covers, Gallery of Rolf Gohs' 1960's covers etc. could do? Pjär 23:10, 31 March 2008 (CEST)
Depending on the number produced over the decade that would be good but for the others just on their page or a seperate gallery page another option would be to use categories for images i.e. Category: Rolf Gohs Covers or Category: Hans Lindahl Covers meaning we wouldn't need a really long page and all it would involve is adding the category to each of the image pages when uploaded--Dark Lord Xander3 07:22, 1 April 2008 (CEST)
Gohs is the one big "problem" really. With almost 1000 Phantom covers produced its... tricky to deal with. Broken down in decades, we still end up with about 200 each for the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s... Lindahl is a bit easier to handle - about 200 covers in total. Vallvé's cover production is merely around 70, Westad's around 50, Pavlovic's around 40, Zibell's and Aspmo's about 30. Then we have a bunch of artists with 20 or less covers produced.
Regarding Frew's cover artist, Lemos has created some 120 covers, with Tessa, Ford, and Chatto as runner ups. Other publisher's cover artists tend to be less productive or unknown. Pjär 12:00, 1 April 2008 (CEST)
I still think they should be put in Galleries of say 100 per page for those artists with a large amount of covers and displayed on the persons page for those with less --Dark Lord Xander4 09:18, 20 April 2008 (CEST)
To Show You my Idea In Action see Antonio Lemos and also Hans Lindahl (I used Lemos and Lindahl becuase they have different Links Lemos Links to the issue while Lindhl Links to Cover Article) as it is an easy way to save space on the persons article yet still show off there work perfect for Hans Lindhl with around 200 covers and much more managable for Gohs --Dark Lord Xander4 07:44, 27 April 2008 (CEST)
