Jorge Rubal was the nickname of Antonio Presa, an Argentine cover artist.
He illustrated at least one original Phantom covers for Editorial Columba.
Biography
Jorge Rubal published his first work in "Billiken" in 1955, a short story titled 'Angel y Lucifer'. In 1958-59 he did various contributions to "Hora Cero Extra" and "Frontera Extra" like "Los Devoradores" and "Sandy Creek". In 1963 worked in "Selecciones Escolares". In the 1960's he was present in "D'Artagnan" and the magazines of Columba as illustrator, cartoonist, art director and mentor of other artists.
