The Fantomen 19/1998 cover was created by Rolf Gohs. Art from the story "The Ring of Death, Part 1" drawn by Kari Leppänen was combined with Gohs' painting by Peter Friman.

This cover used the same background as the Fantomen 17/1998 cover. The face of the Phantom is similar to a previous illustration by Gohs; the Fantomen 19/1980 cover.
