Don Jon Arneson was an American comic book writer.
Biography
Don Jon Arneson was a writer and editor for Dell Comics from 1962 to 1973. He was known for his work on the supernatural comics like Dracula, Werewolf, Frankenstein and Dark Shadows. He created the first comic book headlined by a black character "Lobo", a western comic with its eponymous gunslinger hero. Later in his career Arneson focused on writing books for younger readers publishing more than 100 titles.
