David Williams was the editor for the Irish Phantom comic book Scarlet Sapphire, The Phantom Strikes #2 and #3. He also wrote "Introduction" for The Phantom Dublin Comic Con 80th Anniversary Special. In 2018 he started write scripts for The Phantom Strikes series.
