To Do List
I have decided that rather than Suggest templates over at the Current Events i would compile a list of template that the wiki is missing that i believe it should have the majority of which are from other wikis with a link to an example
- Deletion template: for articles and images not needed Delete Template
Followed by a few Security template to protect against vandalism
- Banned Template: For users who disrupt the community, write abusive things, spam, ect banned template
- Protection of Article Template: for constantly vandalized pages protected template
back to page maintenance
- Imageless Template: For pages needing pictures within articles (Not covers) Image Template
- Incomplete Lists: For lists that arn't finished Incomplete List
- Red Links: For Pages with more that 3 to 5 redlinks Redlinks
- Template / Category for pages needing translation Translation
- In Use Template: for Articles undergoing a major edit In Use
don't forget to use colours and images related to the phantom :)
I would do it myself but have had bad luck making templates in the past --Dark Lord Xander3 09:57, 24 March 2008 (CET)
- Yeah... template construction is one tricky business. :) Good suggestions though! Will get down to it though (I might wait with the Phantom theme though - the design should be a later question.) Pjär 12:41, 24 March 2008 (CET)
- I've created Template:IncompList (your maintenance template suggestion #2), Template:MissingPic (#1), Template:RedLink (#3) and Template:Translate (#4). Articles marked with any of these templates are automatically being listed in a subcategory of Category:Articles in need, just as articles marked with Template:Cite. Are there any more maintenance template we need?
- Also, I've created Template:Overhaul, following your suggestion #5.
- At the moment, all of these templates are very boring. Hopefully that will change in times to come. But at least they exist now :)
- As of your other suggestions (all very valid!), I will have to get back to you on the matter. Pjär 23:57, 25 March 2008 (CET)
