Category talk:Phantom History

The category, as it was intended when it was created, is supposed to include articles about events in the history of the Phantom, but today it only includes characters (which have a category of their own). Should we change the description of this category to include characters aswell? Member 7 18:33, 23 January 2008 (CET)

Do you mean historical stories when you mean "events" or what sort of articles would otherwise be described as events. THe thing is that many of these characters play sometimes quite important roles in the Phantom History. Therefore, it seemed natural to include them. If that was wrong, I do not know, a subcategory of characters would seem somewhat wrong also, so changing this category to include characters might be a good idea. 130.236.60.35 13:56, 24 January 2008 (CET)

Wouldn't the best idea be to create a Category:Historical Characters and have it as a sub-category to both Category:Phantom History and Category:Characters? Pjär 18:35, 26 January 2008 (CET)

Would that mean that those characters would only be in the Historical characters category? I am a little bit unaware how the categorization works at this wiki, while at Seriewikin you could put an article both into a category and a subcategory of the category. The problem with that idea is that some characters are in the borderline between modern characters and Historical characters, figurating in times before the 20th Phantom and the showing up at the time of the 21st Phantom. Well... when (or if?) such a problem occur, then there is no problem sorting a specific article in both categories. Generally I'm against double categorizing though, as it spoils the basic idea of having categories and subcats.
