Keith Williams is an American comic book and comic strip artist. He is best known for inking "The Phantom" for over a decade, while it was pencilled by George Olesen.

Biography

Williams began his career in 1982 as a background inker for John Byrne and Joe Sinnott.

For a while he worked at the Marvel Comics editorial offices, and was Jim Owsley's assitant editor of the Spider-Man titles.

After that he became a full-time inker on titles like Web of Spider-Man, Quasar, Transformers, Silver Surfer, She-Hulk andThe Mask.

In 1994 he succeeded Sy Barry on the daily strip version of "The Phantom", along with Barry's assistant George Olesen who remained as penciller. Olesen & Williams drew the strip until 2005.

Since Paul Ryan took over the Phantom strip, Keith has mainly worked as inker of comic books again, like Kolchak: The Night Stalker from Moonstone Books. He also inked the Phantom/Captain Action crossover story.
