All Team Fantomen stories that I know of gives his name as Duran. However, In "[[The Wig]]", Kit calls him Buran in the Swedish translation. Does the English version also name him Buran? Does anyone know when Duran was started to be used? "The Witches' Sabbath" from 1981 might be the first story to mentioning him. :He is actually called '''Guran''' in the original, which probably is the reason his name was changed to Buran in the translation and then (by mistake?) to Duran.
