Walter (Walt) Howarth is an Engish artist.
He was born on 1st January 1928 in Bolton, Lancahire. He studied drawing during three years in Bolton Art School and worked for Industrial Art Services in Manchester whose clients included World Distributors Ltd., an editor specialized in annuals and comics.
He drew a large covers production of the World Distributor Ldt Company, such as the “John Wayne Adventure”, “Dalek”, “Batman TV” and “Doctor Who” annuals. He was also an accredited artist for some of the Walt Disney’s characters. He died on Thursday, 13 March 2008 after hospitalization in Royal Bolton Hospital.
