"Like Lightning from the Sky" is a 1969 Fratelli Spada story by Angelo Todaro.
Plot synopsis
Rex races to the Phantom to tell him that Tom-Tom and two other boys were taken by deserters from the French Foreign Legion who just robbed a bank. The deserters and bank robbers are hiding over night in the Old Castle near Flowery Hill while their getaway helicopter arrives in the morning. The Phantom flings Rex into the castle who lands safely using a parachute and helps set up a flying fox for the Phantom to get into the castle, arrest the robbers, and free the hostages.
