Kurt Walker is the older brother of the 27th Phantom (thereby also the oldest son of the 26th Phantom) and has only appeared in Defenders of the Earth.
Fictional Character Biography
The 26th Phantom had two sons; Kurt Walker and Kit Walker. For some reason, the oldest son was named Kurt, even though the tradition is that the oldest son should be named Kit.
The 26th Phantom came to discover that his oldest son Kurt was unworthy of being the Phantom, never having learned that the Phantom is meant to serve others.
Kurt, under his alias N'Dama, the Weather Demon, fought his brother.

Behind the Scenes
Kurt is a character specifically created for the Defenders of the Earth TV series, and has never appeared in a regular Phantom comic book or comic strip story. Indeed, in the Phantom legend, the firstborn son in the Walker family is always named "Kit" and becomes the Phantom. However, Kurt does appear in issue #3 of the Marvel Comics Defenders of the Earth mini-series.
