Kiwi Covers is a subseries of Frew's The Phantom. It started in 2016 and ended in 2017, after 31 issues.
To increase sales in New Zealand, Frew began producing cover variants, called Kiwi Covers. In these variants the Phantom's costume is brown, which is the color used in New Zealand for The Phantom (Feature Publications). The distribution of Kiwi Covers and regular covers in New Zealand is 50/50. It is also possible for fans outside Australia to order Kiwi Covers directly from Frew.
