Jean-Yves Mitton (born 1945) is a French comics artist.

Biography

Mitton has been a professional artist since the 1960's. Under the pseudonym John Milton he created several superhero comics for the French market. In 1988 he began to draw the Phantom for the Swedish Fantomen comic book. He also drew the back-up comic "Herman Storm" (written by Eirik Ildahl) for Fantomen. Four of his Phantom stories have been reprinted in De Bästa Äventyren 3, a pocket book entirely dedicated to Mitton.

Since the 1990's, Mitton works primarily for the French album market.
