Plot synopsis by Chronicle Chamber
An Egyptian exhibition is doing the rounds of major museums. With Diana in town on business she tags along for a visit to the Manhattan Museum to take some blood samples from the five, or is it six, mummies in the exhibition. However, when they turn up after hours, you can't interrupt the patrons during the day, Dr. Kantara, whom Diana is assisting with the blood samples, get knocked out and a mummy disappears, along with some papyrus scrolls and clay tablets that the museum doesn't seem to think much of. The exhibition then heads to London where more hijinks occur and this time Diana awaits. After all this commotion the exhibit heads back to Cairo. Will Diana, who is now joined by the Phantom, get to the bottom of this mummy mystery? Is it just a spate of opportune robberies, or is there really a curse on the tomb or Ramenhopep II? Can the Phantom rescue Diana before she is beyond the point of no return?[1]
