Plot synopsis
Sitting on the Skull Throne, the Phantom reads a story from the 1930s involving Colonel Weeks
Corporal Weeks is a young patrolman in the Jungle Patrol, assigned to its Morristown harbor division. Poachers in the jungle are killing elephants, then smuggle the ivory out of the country through Morristown harbour. Corporal Weeks start to investigate how the smugglers operate but sergeant Stark of the Jungle Patrol, bribed by the smugglers to look the other way, arrange for Corporal Weeks to be suspended when an envelope with bills is found in his locker. Corporal Weeks decide to go undercover to find the smugglers himself. Meanwhile the Phantom himself is hot on the trail of the smugglers and on his way to the harbour.
