When they arrive in their skull-shaped helicopter, Madden is just about to attack the valley. They try to defend themselves, but when the Phantom is about to jump from the helicopter, he is struck by the fire and falls into the river and disappears, only his belt is found. Jedda, believing her father to be dead, don the Phantom suit and start her duties as [[the 28th Phantom]]. The first thing she does is to lead the fight against Madden. Her father, however, is not dead, but injured he is seen swiming ashore at the coast before passing out. | |||

Plot summary
