Suggestions

Post your suggestions for upcoming Article of the Month below:

Since quite few qualify, I begin nominating some that I think do qualify so that we have some to pick from. I think these are above average of the qualified:

• The Phantom vs Singh 2050 (only missing a picture to illustrate it, but no information missing)
• The 9th Phantom (my favorite Phantom, no image though)
• The 31st Phantom (although short, it covers its small subject well)
• The Death of Diana Palmer Walker (A very good story article, it's missing pictures though. I would prefer to have this as the article of the month when the five-part story arc is finished or in the month in which it will finish, since it will connect to that)
• The Masked Marvel (I like this story and the article is only missing an image)

These are some of the articles that I kind of like, though only one of the have an image, which might be a flaw. Karl MAN 18:07, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

It is true that we haw few articles that feel really "complete". An idea we have is to do "Project of the Month" aswell where all users try to direct their focus on specific article(s), to make them more complete.

I like the idea of timing TDoDPW with the end of Chatu's Fate, which presumably will be in April. Other suggestions that could have good timing:

• The Singh Brotherhood (February, with the 75th Anniversary of the strip)
• Fantomen (July, to coincide with #1500)
• Best Story Sweden and Best Story Norway (joint, in May to coincide with the results of the 2010 votes released in late April)
• Best Fantomen cover and Best Fantomet cover (joint, in August - the results are released in mid July but the July article should be something more related to #1500 I think) Andreas 13:24, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

I just realized that Lee Falk was born April 28, 1911, so his 100 birthday would be this April. His article is quite good, merely missing a picture of him. I think that we ought to make that article the article of the month in April! Karl MAN 19:43, 23 February 2011 (CET)

We still haven't agreed on an article of the month for March and now it is March 2. Picking one article that I think qualify, I nominate "The Masked Marvel" as article of the month in March. It is a good article and merely missing a picture. It does not coincide with anything, but I think that we ought to have a new article of the month for each month. Karl MAN 10:41, 2 March 2011 (CET)

I was away on a business trip, otherwise I would have picked something on March 1st even without agreement. But at least we can decide now that Lee Falk will be the article for April! Feel free to polish that article a little more (without making it an official Project). I think we should try to get some attention to the wiki in general and the Falk article in particular in April. I like your suggestions of what to put up in May, July, and August. That leaves us to decide something for June. I wonder whether we should go for "The Death of Diana Palmer Walker" still, or figure out something different.
